Ben and Michelle were married at the Falmouth Beach Hotel, Falmouth, Cornwall. It was one of the hottest days of the summer, and the perfect location for some beautiful wedding photographs. The garden provided a stunning backdrop.

Busy times, so just getting round to catching up with my blogging!
I had a great day photographing Adam and Stacey’s wedding. The ceremony was held at Tucking Mill, nr Camborne followed by the reception at the Carn Marth Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall.
Adam and Stacey were fabulous to work with and are clearly very much in love! Stacey was beaming throughout the day, althoug I think it was going too fast!
Great make up by Penny at www.weddinghairandmakeup4u.com
Also a huge thanks to the vicar for allowing photography throughout the ceremony.
Hope you enjoy the pics.
Apologies for the “Sound of Music” type image! Couldn’t resist!

Apologies for the next post. It’s for us geeks out there!
I splashed out on a new Nikon 70-200mm VRII zoom lens a few days ago. My old telephoto was showing it’s age so time to get the latest fast glass from Nikon in time for this years wedding season. It’s expensive (still in denial), heavy and rock solid, and it takes stunning images! I’ve only had chance to try it out quickly but the images were tack sharp even at slow shutter speeds. I managed to get usable images at 200mm with only 1/10th of a second shutter speed, hand held! This won’t be my normal practice, but handy to have that ability especially in those dark churches.

Lottie had her first photo shoot! A lot was expected of her and she responded with some great expressions, especially the “Elvis” one!

I’m trialling a new proofing system instead of my website. The new on allows me to show proofs “full screen”, helping to display the images in far more detail than previously.
Any comments please let me know!
