St Ives Harbour Hotel, (porthminster) Izzy and Anthony

We had the privilege of joining Izzy and Anthony at The Harbour Hotel, St Ives for their big day.

It was a great day, full of emotion and fun.  Izzy and Anthony were a great couple and very flexible with timings due to the wonderful British summer!

Apologies for the late update of blogs, it’s been a manic year – just catching up!

Kate and David were married at St Germoe Church, with the reception held at the Porthminster Hotel, St Ives.  The weather held up so we were fortunate to be able to get those all important beach shots – enjoy the images.

Portrait Shoot, Charlestown

Its been a while since my last post due to a very hectic schedule.  Some of these are a few months old, oops

I met Viki and her family for a photoshoot at Charlestown, a beautifull village and harbour in Cornwall.  Home to a couple of stunning tall ships.

The weather was terrible all day and it touch and go as to whether the shoot would be cancelled, however we were lucky and a break in the clouds came along just in time!!

Newquay Wedding, Adam and Stacey

Busy times, so just getting round to catching up with my blogging!

I had a great day photographing Adam and Stacey’s wedding. The ceremony was held at Tucking Mill, nr Camborne followed by the reception at the Carn Marth Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall.

Adam and Stacey were fabulous to work with and are clearly very much in love! Stacey was beaming throughout the day, althoug I think it was going too fast!

Gift vouchers are now available for both wedding and portrait photography, please contact me for more details.

Portrait photography vouchers include the cost of the photo shoot plus money to spend on photographic products after the shoot.

Wedding vouchers can be purchased up to 3 weeks before the wedding date with the value being taken off the final bill to the couple (or alternatively to be used by the couple for photographic products after the wedding.

Nikon 70-200mm VR II

Apologies for the next post.  It’s for us geeks out there!

I splashed out on a new Nikon 70-200mm VRII zoom lens a few days ago.  My old telephoto was showing it’s age so time to get the latest fast glass from Nikon in time for this years wedding season.  It’s expensive (still in denial), heavy and rock solid, and it takes stunning images!  I’ve only had chance to try it out quickly but the images were tack sharp even at slow shutter speeds.  I managed to get usable images at 200mm with only 1/10th of a second shutter speed, hand held!  This won’t be my normal practice, but handy to have that ability especially in those dark churches.

Lotties first Portrait shoot, Cornwall Wedding Photographer
